Iran's Military Warns of Firm Response to U.S. Interference in Strait of Hormuz on July 13

According to Iran's state broadcaster IRIB, Iran's military central command warned on July 13 that it will firmly respond to any U.S. military interference with merchant and tanker traffic through the Strait of Hormuz without Iranian authorization. The military also warned regional states that any cooperation or logistical support to U.S. forces will be considered an act of war against Iran's sovereignty and national security. Iran stated that if the conflict expands, instability could spread throughout the region.
