According to Jin10, Iran's Foreign Minister Alagchi said on the evening of May 22 that he spoke with UN Secretary-General Guterres regarding recent regional developments and Iran-U.S. diplomatic progress mediated by Pakistan. Alagchi stated that repeated U.S. breaches of faith, military aggression against Iran, contradictory positions, and excessive demands are hindering the Pakistan-mediated negotiation process. He added that despite strong skepticism toward the U.S., Iran remains committed to the diplomatic process with a responsible and serious attitude, seeking a fair and reasonable outcome.
