Iran's Football Team Mandated to Enter and Exit US on Match Day During World Cup

According to Iran's ambassador to Mexico, the Iranian national football team has been notified that it must enter and leave U.S. territory on the day of each match during the World Cup. Due to tensions between the U.S. and Israel toward Tehran, the team is currently based in Mexico rather than the originally planned Tucson, Arizona. Ambassador Pasandideh explained the visa restrictions: "We can enter in the morning, but must depart the same day." Iran will play three group matches in Los Angeles and Seattle.
