According to Jin10, Iran’s Foreign Minister Araghchi said on May 15 that Iran welcomes China’s diplomatic efforts to resolve the current situation. He noted that China-Iran relations are strong and praised China’s role in facilitating Iran-Saudi Arabia normalization. China’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson reiterated that dialogue and negotiation are the only path forward, emphasizing that military solutions have no way out. Beijing has consistently advocated for diplomatic resolution since the conflict began.
