Iran Says Communication Channel with U.S. Remains Open, but Talks Show No Major Progress

According to Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi on June 3, communication channels between Iran and the United States remain open, but negotiations aimed at ending the war have made no major progress in recent days. Araghchi stated that both sides are currently working on existing proposals and that Iran will resume negotiations once conditions are favorable and align with national interests. He dismissed as unrealistic claims that U.S. President Trump is willing to meet directly with Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei.
