According to Saudi media outlet Alhadath, Iran proposed today (May 23) reopening the Strait of Hormuz in exchange for U.S. compensation. The proposal comes with a precondition: Iran has called for discussions on sanctions and frozen assets to be resolved before any agreement is signed.
