According to Balagh news agency, a state-affiliated outlet of Iran's judiciary, Iran executed a Mossad operative on May 26. The convicted individual, identified as Gholamreza Hani Shekrab, was accused of establishing an intelligence network for Israel's Mossad abroad and recruiting Iranian citizens to carry out sabotage activities against national security. He was arrested following operations by Iran's security and intelligence agencies and convicted after trial.
