According to IoTrust, the company announced Descent S, a credit card-sized cold wallet, on July 14, with the product launching on July 21. The device comes with a backup card as standard to help users recover assets if the main card is lost, eliminating the need to store a 24-word recovery phrase separately.
Descent S stores private keys in an EAL6+ grade secure element chip embedded in the card, which remains inaccessible even if the user's smartphone is compromised. The wallet supports over 4,900 digital assets across more than 100 networks, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, and XRP.
