At Think 2026 conference on May 5, IBM unveiled expanded capabilities for its Confluent platform to support real-time data processing for AI-driven operations. The company introduced tools aimed at helping enterprises improve AI deployment, governance, and operational scalability. According to Arvind Krishna, IBM believes enterprises require stronger infrastructure and governance to fully benefit from AI technologies. IBM emphasized that blockchain and AI are complementary, with blockchain improving trust and transparency in AI ecosystems while AI enhances blockchain efficiency through automation and advanced analytics.
