According to Tether, on July 13, Hyundai Motor US and Hyundai Motor Mexico completed an enterprise-grade USDT cross-border settlement proof-of-concept via Axiym on the Avalanche network, marking Tether's first corporate cross-border payment pilot case. Hyundai Motor US converted $20,000 to USDT, transferred it across borders to Hyundai Motor Mexico, and converted it back to USD, with the entire process completed in approximately 7 minutes—significantly faster than traditional bank transfers which typically take 3 to 4 hours or longer.
