According to Xingxian People's Hospital, on April 16, 2026, all medical staff were present and performing their duties when the patient visited the orthopedic clinic. The patient subsequently posted a false video on Douyin (Chinese TikTok) falsely claiming staff members were absent, misleading the public and damaging the hospital's reputation. After the hospital reviewed surveillance footage and medical records, it contacted the patient to clarify the facts. The patient acknowledged his error and publicly apologized to the orthopedic staff in the hospital lobby.
