Hong Kong Chief Executive Expands Ties with Kazakhstan's Almaty on June 11

Hong Kong Chief Executive John Lee attended a roundtable conference held by Kazakhstan's Almaty city on June 11. Lee announced that Hong Kong would support Almaty's development through three areas: providing diversified financing services including bond issuance and IPO access as a global capital gateway; assisting local enterprises to connect with mainland China's supply chains and expand into Asian and global markets; and partnering on talent and technology development by leveraging Hong Kong's leading universities and innovation ecosystem.
