According to a Grayscale Worldcoin ETF filing with the SEC, disclosed recently via Protos, approximately 90% of circulating WLD tokens are concentrated in just 100 wallets, contrasting with the project's vision of fair distribution to as many people as possible.

The filing also revealed that World Chain's sequencer operates in a centralized manner, with upgrade functions coordinated by a small group of participants from the World Foundation, Tools for Humanity, and Optimism, while governance remains primarily guided by the World Foundation.
