Google Upgrades NotebookLM to Gemini 3.5 with Antigravity Support, Showing 65% Performance Gains

Google announced today that NotebookLM has been upgraded to Gemini 3.5, the company's latest generative AI model debuted at Google I/O 2026. The update introduces support for Antigravity, enabling NotebookLM to write and run code for research workflows, along with a "cloud computer" feature and over 100 built-in software skills. According to Google, the upgraded NotebookLM achieved a 65 percent win rate in core evaluation dimensions including accuracy, multilingual support, large document analysis, and advanced research compared to the previous Gemini 3.1 version.
