Germany's 2027 Budget Plan Shows Borrowing Over €203 Billion, Defense Spending at €130.1 Billion

Defense-related spending totals approximately €130.1 billion, including €109.8 billion in core military budget plus Ukraine aid and other security outlays. Infrastructure investment increases to €117.5 billion, earmarked for transportation, digitalization, and hospital upgrades.
