German 2-Year Bund Yields Fall 6.2 Bps on June 12 Following ECB Rate Hike

On Friday (June 12), a day after the European Central Bank announced its rate hike, German bond yields declined sharply across the curve. The 2-year Bund yield fell 6.2 basis points to 2.617%, while the 10-year Bund yield dropped 3.6 basis points to 2.995%. The 30-year Bund yield fell 1.5 basis points to 3.549%. Meanwhile, France's 10-year government bond yield rose more than 5 basis points on the week.
