Gate Polymarket Records $528M World Cup Trading Volume, Platform Achieves 58M Users and $8.18B Reserves in Q2

On July 22, Gate Polymarket recorded over $528 million in cumulative trading volume during the 2026 FIFA World Cup, with 501,190 participants and 2.63 million transactions, ranking No. 1 among all Polymarket channels by daily, weekly, and monthly volume.

Gate's Q2 2026 report confirmed the platform's global user base exceeded 58 million with total reserves reaching $8.182 billion at a 115% coverage ratio. On compliance, Gate US now holds Money Transmitter Licenses in 36 states; Gate Europe holds MiCA and Payment Institution licenses; and Gate Japan, Dubai, and Australia operate under respective regulatory frameworks. The platform burned 2.57 million GT tokens in Q2, bringing cumulative burns to nearly 190 million, representing approximately 63% reduction from initial supply.
