Ford CEO Calls for Fair Competition in USMCA Talks, Citing 2M+ U.S.-Assembled Vehicles Last Year

According to Ford CEO Jim Farley, ahead of the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) trade talks being reopened, Ford hopes to create a fairer competitive environment for automakers. Farley stated that manufacturers like Ford, which produce most of their vehicles domestically, should be rewarded, while those relying heavily on imports should face penalties or restrictions. Ford reported assembling over 2 million vehicles in the United States last year, more than any other automaker, including 311,000 units exported to over 60 international markets.
