Flare Schedules July 6-13 Governance Vote to Deploy Confidential Compute on Songbird Network

XRP-1.85%

According to Flare's official announcement, the blockchain platform scheduled a community governance vote from July 6 to July 13 to deploy Flare Confidential Compute (FCC) on its Songbird canary network. The voting notice period began on June 29.

The deployment will introduce programmable execution for the XRP Ledger, enabling real-world assets issued on the ledger to interact with decentralized applications without requiring manual bridging between networks. If approved, Songbird will serve as a testbed to gather operational performance data before the technology launches on Flare's primary mainnet.
