GateNews
According to BlockBeats, on May 23, F2Pool co-founder Wang Chun explained his decision to pursue a crewed Mars mission rather than a lunar flight through SpaceX. Wang stated that governments are likely to reach the Moon through public investment and private lunar missions will likely succeed regardless. However, he expressed uncertainty about Mars exploration progress within his generation and decided to fund a Mars flyby mission to give SpaceX additional incentive to continue Mars development. "We should not postpone Mars exploration to the next generation," Wang said.
