European Stock Indexes Fall on May 15, DAX 30 Down 2.04% to Close at 23,954.99

On May 15, European stock indexes closed sharply lower, with Germany’s DAX 30 falling 2.04% (down 497.63 points) to close at 23,954.99.

Other major European indexes also declined: the UK FTSE 100 fell 1.79% to 10,187.66, France’s CAC 40 dropped 1.60% to 7,952.55, the Stoxx Europe 50 declined 1.65% to 5,828.95, Spain’s IBEX 35 fell 1.07% to 17,618.59, and Italy’s FTSE MIB decreased 1.82% to 49,138.50.
