European Parliament Trade Committee Approves EU-U.S. Trade Deal on June 2

According to CCTV News, on June 2, the European Parliament's International Trade Committee passed the EU-U.S. trade agreement. The accord was first announced in July 2025, but its ratification faced delays over several months. In March this year, parliament voted in favor of conditional implementation while seeking additional safeguards, and member states reached consensus on the proposed measures in May.
