European Natural Gas Futures Fall 5%+ on May 20 as TTF Drops 5.63%, Carbon Permits Rise

On May 20, ICE UK natural gas futures declined 5.25% to 120.00 pence per therm, while TTF (Title Transfer Facility) Dutch natural gas futures fell 5.63% to 49.065 euros per megawatt-hour. The decline accelerated starting at 22:14 Beijing time. ICE EU carbon emission allowances (futures) rose 1.10% to 74.76 euros per ton, offsetting losses in the energy complex.
