According to CryptoNews, the European Union will implement revised anti-money laundering (AML) regulations starting July 10, 2027. Crypto asset service providers (CASP) must conduct strict Know-Your-Customer (KYC) procedures for transactions exceeding 1,000 euros. Anonymous accounts and services related to privacy coins will be completely prohibited. The new rules also set a 10,000-euro cap on commercial cash payments within the EU, and transactions of 3,000 euros or more require merchants and obligated entities to verify customer identity and conduct due diligence before completion.
