According to Aave governance forum, on July 3, EtherFi proposed a Temp Check to deploy a white-label Aave V4 instance on OP Mainnet as the credit backend for its Visa card product EtherFi Cash, replacing the current Debt Manager. The instance will share liquidity with Aave's core market while remaining isolated, with EtherFi handling configuration, risk parameters, and operations, and Aave receiving 20% reserve factor revenue. Terms include GHO integration, GHO GSM deployment on OP Mainnet, a maximum of $175 million in assets at launch, and exclusive use of the Aave V4 lending market by EtherFi Cash. The proposal will collect community feedback for at least five days before advancing to ARFC stage, with deployment targeted for July 2026.
