According to BlockBeats, Ethereum co-founder Joseph Lubin said on June 22 that well-funded organizations will soon join the Ethereum Foundation in efforts to establish Ethereum as a global settlement layer. Lubin highlighted Ethereum's large-scale, strict decentralization as enabling this vision of a truly neutral global coordination and digital asset settlement platform. These organizations will focus on advancing the Ethereum ecosystem and supporting financial institutions adopting Ethereum technology across three systems: Mainnet, Layer 2 networks, and Private Ethereum. Lubin described a future where these three systems achieve near-real-time interoperability and composability, allowing ETH to flow freely across the expanded Ethereum ecosystem.
