Following the CPI release, Bitcoin surged from around $62,000 to $64,900, while Ether climbed 7% to $1,884, triggering roughly $134 million in short liquidations within one hour.
U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs saw combined net inflows of approximately $191 million on Tuesday and Wednesday, ending 10 consecutive days of outflows. Wintermute noted that Bitcoin's price gains held firm despite concurrent chip stock selloffs, suggesting crypto market structure is recovering, though a sustained uptrend remains unconfirmed.
