Etched Raises $800M for AI Inference Clusters, Secures Over $1B in Orders

According to PANews, on July 1, AI hardware company Etched announced completion of its Series funding round totaling $800 million to build low-latency inference clusters. The company's first-generation A0 chip has completed tape-out and returned from fabrication at TSMC's N4P process node. Etched is currently validating rack-level products with customers to fulfill orders exceeding $1 billion for inference cluster deployments. The company has grown its team to over 400 members, including talent from NVIDIA, TPU, Broadcom, SK Hynix, and TSMC, with backing from VentureTech Alliance and other strategic investors.
