Emerging Markets Stock Earnings Forecast to Hit 55% in 2026, Goldman Sachs Says

GS2.69%
According to Goldman Sachs Asset Management, emerging markets stock earnings are forecast to grow 55% in 2026, more than double the projected S&P 500 earnings growth. The asset manager attributed the momentum to solid earnings improvements and structural growth in the artificial intelligence sector. Despite the gains, emerging market stocks still trade at a 40% discount to U.S. counterparts, attracting approximately $50 billion in inflows this year, the largest annual influx in two decades. Goldman Sachs also noted that emerging markets control roughly 80% of global AI hardware exports, positioning them to benefit further as AI-related investments expand across supply chains.
