Egyptian and Turkish Officials Hold Talks with Hamas on Gaza Ceasefire Implementation Today

According to Egyptian media, Egyptian and Turkish intelligence officials held talks with Hamas representatives in Cairo today (June 30) regarding Gaza ceasefire implementation. Egypt's intelligence chief Hassan Rashad and Turkey's national intelligence director Ibrahim Kalin met with a Hamas delegation led by senior officials including Khalil al-Hayya and Khaled Meshaal. The three sides achieved "positive progress" in the talks on the second phase of the Gaza ceasefire. All parties expressed optimism toward a U.S.-proposed plan to end the Gaza conflict, with Hamas officials confirming full support for its implementation.
