Donghua Energy Receives Warning Letter From China Securities Regulator for 4-Year Disclosure Violation

On May 26, Donghua Energy received a warning letter from Jiangsu Securities Regulatory Bureau for failing to timely disclose a May 2022 Hong Kong arbitration matter and its subsequent material developments. The company did not report the arbitration in its annual reports from 2022 to 2025.

Donghua Energy supplemented the disclosure in April 2026. The regulator attributed primary responsibility to Chairman Zhou Yifeng, General Manager Shao Xiao, and Board Secretary Chen Wenxin for inadequate fulfillment of duties. The warning has been recorded in the securities market integrity file.
