Deutsche Bank Forecasts Meta AI Compute Sales Could Add $90B-$300B Revenue by End of 2027

According to Deutsche Bank, Meta's plan to sell AI computing capacity and model access to external customers on July 3 represents a new monetization channel rather than a retreat from advanced model development. The bank estimates Meta could reach 8-11.5 GW of AI-related compute capacity by end of 2027, with 1.2-2.7 GW available for external sale. Assuming 75% sell-through at $10-15 billion per GW annually, Meta could generate $90-300 billion in new revenue, with a base case of $175 billion, representing 3-10% upside versus market expectations.
