According to his recent appearance on the Galaxy Brains podcast, Binance founder Changpeng Zhao praised Hyperliquid's decentralized exchange for its high-performance blockchain, onchain order books, gasless orders, sub-second execution, and up to 40x leverage. CZ noted the platform has carved out a niche Binance cannot compete in because users can trade without conventional identity checks. However, he cautioned that this same feature presents its biggest compliance risk, referencing his own 2023 anti-money-laundering guilty plea and subsequent prison sentence. Meanwhile, Uniswap founder Hayden Adams criticized U.S. securities law on X, stating: "The main impact of securities law seems to be only people who are already millionaires can invest in startups." Adams revived the long-running debate over accredited-investor rules that restrict early-stage deals to the already wealthy.
