Crypto Futures See $1.111 Billion in Liquidations Over 24 Hours; Longs Hit $846 Million

According to Coinglass data cited by ChainCatcher, $1.111 billion in positions were liquidated across crypto futures in the past 24 hours, with long positions accounting for $846 million and short positions $265 million.

Bitcoin long liquidations totaled $216 million while shorts reached $102 million. Ethereum saw $230 million in long liquidations against $45.1 million in shorts. The largest single liquidation occurred on Binance BTCUSDT pair, valued at $13.32 million.
