According to state broadcaster CCTV, a coal mine explosion at Las Quintas mine in Cucunuba, Cundinamarca Province, Colombia, killed four miners. The explosion occurred in a mine shaft on May 9 afternoon, trapping four workers underground. On May 10 morning, local fire department confirmed that the bodies of all four deceased miners had been recovered. Authorities are investigating the cause of the explosion.
