CNPC Chairman Meets World Petroleum Council President on July 2 in London

According to Jin10, CNPC Chairman Dai Houliang met World Petroleum Council President Pedro in London on July 2 (local time). The two exchanged views on deepening practical cooperation. Dai stated that the World Petroleum Council, as a leading international energy organization, plays an important role in formulating industry governance rules and promoting technological innovation. He noted that China is an important member state of the council and CNPC is a deep participant in its affairs, expressing willingness to contribute wisdom on perfecting the global energy governance system and providing suggestions on global energy security and green, low-carbon transition.
