According to CryptoQuant analyst Crazzyblockk, CME institutional Bitcoin futures positions have reached yearly extremes. Net long positions among asset managers fell to $800 million, the lowest level in 124 weeks since spot Bitcoin ETF launches, with the COT index remaining at zero for five consecutive weeks. Meanwhile, leveraged funds' net short position declined to a 52-week low, with gross shorts dropping 67.5% from an all-time high of $10.88 billion to $3.53 billion. Both institutional longs and hedge fund shorts are unwinding simultaneously, leaving Bitcoin's market structure in a positioning vacuum.
