According to CITIC Securities research, the U.S. added more non-farm jobs than expected in April 2026, with the unemployment rate at 4.3% as forecast. The brokerage expects the Federal Reserve to cut rates once by 25 basis points in the second half of 2026 if Iran tensions ease and oil prices decline, bringing inflation expectations lower.
