According to Ukraine’s Energy Ministry on May 11, the fire in the Chornobyl radiation ecology protection zone that began on May 7 remains under control. Rescue personnel and zone experts are conducting cleanup operations. Monitoring shows gamma radiation levels have not exceeded normal limits, and background radiation remains within the monthly normal range with no anomalies detected.
