China's Three Major Telecom Operators Launch Token Packages, Starting at 9.9 Yuan Per Month

According to China Central Radio and Television, on May 20, China Telecom, China Mobile, and China Unicom launched Token packages priced like data plans, marking the first time major Chinese carriers offered AI computing capacity on a usage-based subscription model. China Telecom offers individual consumers three tiers: 9.9 yuan per month for 10 million Tokens, 29.9 yuan for 40 million Tokens, and 49.9 yuan for 80 million Tokens, with separate enterprise plans ranging from 39.9 to 299.9 yuan. Users can apply the bundled tokens across multiple AI services including writing, video production, educational tutoring, and coding assistance without switching between separate apps.
