China's Tech Stocks Surge as ChiNext Index Jumps 35% in H1 2026, CSG Leads with 770% Gain

According to PANews and Financial Associated Press, China's A-share market closed H1 2026 on June 30 with all three major indices posting gains. The Sci-Tech 50 Index surged over 64% for the half-year, while the ChiNext Index climbed over 35%, both outperforming the broader market.

Technology stocks, particularly semiconductors and PCB-related companies, drove the rally. Chip materials producer CSG surged over 770%, topping the H1 gainers list. Among the top five performers, PCB concept stocks occupied two seats, with Honghe Technology and Jinan Guoji both gaining over 600%. Conversely, consumer stocks lagged, with liquor stocks declining notably.
