According to China’s Foreign Ministry, on May 7, the Asian Affairs Division Director Liu Jinsong met with Pakistani Ambassador Hashmi to discuss bilateral relations and mutual concerns. This year marks the 75th anniversary of China-Pakistan diplomatic relations. Liu noted that Pakistani President Zardari recently completed successful visits to Hunan and Hainan provinces. Both sides expressed commitment to maintaining high-level exchanges, advancing the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, and strengthening strategic communication on regional and international issues.
