China's Favorability Surpasses U.S. for First Time Since 2023, Pew Study Shows

According to Pew Research Center, China's favorability now exceeds the United States for the first time since at least 2023. In a survey of 36 countries, a majority view China more favorably than the U.S., including major American allies such as Canada, Australia, France, and Germany.

Among 20 countries with comparable data since 2023, nearly 50% of respondents hold positive views of China compared to just 36% for the United States. Three years ago, these figures were 32% for China and 58% for the U.S.
