China's Border Crossings Hit 369 Million in H1 2026, Up 10.8% Year-Over-Year

According to the National Immigration Administration on July 10, China's immigration authorities verified 369 million border crossings in the first half of 2026, up 10.8% year-over-year and hitting a record high. Mainland residents accounted for 176 million crossings, while Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan residents accounted for 147 million, and foreign nationals for 45.9 million.
