China Securities Investment Fund Association Registers 2,348 Private Funds Totaling 928.68 Billion Yuan in April

According to the China Securities Investment Fund Association (CASDC), as of May 26, 2026, 2,348 private funds were newly registered in April with total assets of 928.68 billion yuan. Among them, 1,683 were private securities investment funds with 644.51 billion yuan in registered capital; 159 were private equity funds with 64.05 billion yuan; and 506 were venture capital funds with 220.11 billion yuan.

As of April 30, 2026, outstanding private funds reached 142,078 funds managing 23.46 trillion yuan in total assets. This comprised 82,705 private securities investment funds (7.85 trillion yuan), 29,749 private equity funds (11.38 trillion yuan), and 28,952 venture capital funds (3.96 trillion yuan).
