China Petroleum's H1 2026 Oil and Gas Output Up 0.3%, Refined Oil Sales Fall 9.2%

According to China National Petroleum Corporation, the company's combined oil and gas production reached 263.48 million barrels of oil equivalent in the first half of 2026, up 0.3% year-over-year. However, domestic refined oil sales fell to 79.00 million tons, down 9.2% compared to the same period last year. The company also reported declines in crude oil processing volume and gasoline and diesel output during the period.
