China Ministry of Commerce: Brazilian Beef Imports Hit 80% of Safeguard Quota on July 21

According to China's Ministry of Commerce, Brazilian beef imports under safeguard measures reached 80% of the specified quantity on July 21. Per Ministry of Commerce Announcement 2025 No. 87, an additional 55% tariff will be imposed on current applicable tariff rates starting from the third day after imports reach 100% of the specified quantity.
