China Fully Implements 'AI Plus' Initiative, Cracks Down on Vicious Competition on June 10

According to PANews, on June 10, China's National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) Director Zheng Sangui presided over an economic situation expert symposium. Zheng stated the NDRC will fully implement an 'AI Plus' action plan to accelerate development of a modern industrial system and intensify efforts against 'vicious competition.' The NDRC will also enhance macro policy effectiveness, accelerate construction of six major infrastructure networks (water, power grid, computing, telecommunications, underground utilities, and logistics), promote consumer goods trade-in programs, deepen market unification reforms, strengthen energy security, and ensure employment for priority groups.
