China Exports 784,000 Passenger Vehicles in May, Up 75.1% YoY

According to China Passenger Car Association (CPCA), China exported 784,000 passenger vehicles in May, surging 75.1% year-over-year. New energy vehicles accounted for 54% of total exports, up 9 percentage points from the same period last year.

Domestic brands led export growth with 682,000 units in May, up 83% year-over-year, while joint venture and luxury brands exported 102,000 units, increasing 36% over the same period.
