China Domestic Pork Prices Rise 13.54% to 10.9 Yuan/kg as of July 10

According to National Bureau of Statistics data, as of July 10, domestic pork prices rose to 10.9 yuan per kilogram, up 13.54% from the end of June. Industry sources attributed the rebound to structural factors driven by tight inventory of large-scale hog stocks rather than increased consumer demand. The ongoing capacity rationalization trend suggests prices may face headwinds from seasonal demand weakness and elevated frozen pork inventories.
